Andy needs an angel.

If Andy does not find someone willing to take him home and show him how to be a dog, his future is heartbreakingly bleak. His days are spent hiding in a corner, terrified of people, only venturing out for a short time each day when he can wander the yard and experience a tiny glimpse of what a normal dog’s life should be.

Watching him is crushing. We have done everything we can, but the shelter environment is simply not what Andy needs.

What he does need is a calm, quiet home with at least one confident, friendly dog who can show him that the world is not such a frightening place. He needs someone patient, understanding and willing to let him progress at his own pace. Someone who won’t expect immediate results but will celebrate the smallest victories.

Andy is not aggressive. He is not difficult. He is simply afraid.

Somewhere out there is the person who can change his life. Someone who understands that the most rewarding journeys are often the slowest ones. Someone who can give this gentle soul the time, security and love he has never known.

Please consider Andy. Share his story. Help us find the person who can finally show him that people can be kind and that life can be more than fear.

We wanted to share something creative happening soon in Valencia!

We're running a set of fun and fabulous stained-glass workshops this June, and there are still a few places left.

The workshops cover 3 different stained-glass techniques (you can join for 1, 2 or all 3 days)

Day 1: Traditional Leaded Glass, where you will choose from 3 different designs to create a beautiful panel to hang in your window. (As with all the workshops, the choice of glass and colours is entirely yours!)

Day 2:Copper Foil (Tiffany) Glass, which allows more delicate and 3 dimensional creations. Choose from a candle holder, a hanging planter or a delicate light catcher.

Day 3: Glass-on-Glass Mosaics, where you will choose a glass base bowl, jar etc. to decorate in a riot of colour or a sophisticated design - your choice!

The workshops run from 10am to 5pm, with an hour for lunch
All are beginner-friendly, though of course everyone is very welcome!

Join us for our one-day traditional leaded stained glass workshop in Pla de Corrals on Sunday, 17th May.
You’ll spend the day learning this magical, colourful craft – and go home with something you created yourself, a Victorian, art deco or contemporary panel to hang in your window – the choice is yours!
This workshop is perfect for beginners – no experience needed at all. We will guide you through everything, from choosing and cutting your glass, to working with lead came, soldering and completing your piece.
