San Juan is just a few days away... It falls on 23rd June and it is celebrated right across the island with bonfires, music and local fiestas
Haria in particular has a long tradition of San Juan celebrations. In previous years the evening has included the traditional burning of Don Facundo, fire dancing, fireworks and a popular festival from around 23:00. The atmosphere is genuinely local and well worth experiencing if you have not been before.
A practical note: 24th June is a local fiesta day in Haria and Tinajo. Banks, local government offices and many businesses in those municipalities will be closed. If you need anything done in either town, plan around it.

⚠️Seek shade where possible, and avoid the summer sun during the middle of the day⚠️Wear protective clothing.
⚠️Apply sunscreen - Check that yours has a high protection factor against both UVA and UVB rays. Remember to RE-APPLY!
