⚡ ¿Y si una pieza estructural de un avión pudiera almacenar energía?

En SOFITEC estamos trabajando para hacer realidad este concepto a través de RE-CELL, un proyecto de I+D que coordinamos para desarrollar una nueva generación de baterías estructurales fabricadas con fibra de carbono reciclada para aplicaciones aeronáuticas.

El objetivo es desarrollar materiales multifuncionales capaces de soportar cargas estructurales mientras almacenan energía, reduciendo el peso de la aeronave y avanzando hacia una aviación más eficiente y sostenible.

Durante el proyecto abordaremos algunos de los principales retos tecnológicos de esta nueva generación de materiales:

✈️ Desarrollo de baterías estructurales para aplicaciones aeronáuticas.
♻️ Revalorización de fibra de carbono reciclada mediante procesos avanzados.
🧪 Desarrollo de nuevos electrolitos sólidos con elevadas prestaciones mecánicas y electroquímicas.
💻 Diseño y optimización mediante modelado numérico multiphysics.
🏭 Fabricación y validación de un demostrador aeronáutico a escala real.

Como coordinador del proyecto, SOFITEC lidera la transferencia de esta tecnología hacia su aplicación industrial, reforzando su apuesta por la innovación en materiales compuestos avanzados y soluciones sostenibles para el sector aeronáutico.
