Evenor-Tech, ICT for Land Evaluation Evenor-Tech provides a combination of technical and R+D services to contribute towards advanced and sustainable land management.

Furthermore, it provides specialized information and advisory services to both public and private entities. Evenor-Tech, (a limited company) is a spin-off from the CSIC and belongs to the sector of ICTs applied to land use planning. Using MicroLEIS DSS technology and a multi-disciplinary approach, we provide a combination of technical and R+D services to contribute towards advanced and sustainable

land management. Furthermore, we provide specialised information and advisory services to both public and private entities. Evenor-Tech represents the materialisation of over 30 years’ research in soil evaluation by offering interactive databases on soils, climate and land management, as well as evaluation models to determine land capability and vulnerability in current and global change scenarios. Our services are continually updated and enhanced, as we strengthen our service provision through collaboration agreements with universities, research institutes and enterprises in the sector which enable us to develop vanguard solutions tailored to our customers’ objectives and based on the principles of sustainability and biodiversity.

- Agro-ecological Decision Support System MicroLEIS DSS. The technology provides a computer-based set of tools for an orderly arrangement and practical interpretation of land resources/agricultural management data under present scenario and future scenario of climate change. Its major components are:
Land evaluation model for soil quality assessment.
Land evaluation models for soil degradation assessment.
Land evaluation models for soil carbon sequestration.
- Soil Data Base SEISnet. This data base is user-friendly software designed to store and retrieve in an efficient and systematic way the large amounts of geo-referenced soil attribute data collected in soil surveys and laboratories. This database can be used in soil monitoring and evaluation regardless of scale (regional, national or local), and especially to implement tools on choosing optimal land use and management decisions in sustainable agriculture development.
