Alegre Design Alegre Design is a design studio specialized in bringing innovation and value to people and companies

The studio, run by Marcelo Alegre and Andrés Baldoví, was set up in 2001 and it currently has a long list of collaborators specialized in different sectors. We understand design as a global concept which is not only applied to aesthetics, but that can and does come up with realistic long-term solutions for the product’s lifespan: right from the production process itself, the sustainability of its

manufacturing, the use efficiency, the user interface or its environmentally-friendly materials. We design with the user, the company and the release of the product in mind.

System One is based on an existing philosophy used by the automotive sector. One platform for multiple vehicles. The platform consists of chassis, batteries, motor and electronics. Designed as a svelte ring, Ki has been conceived as a projector that generates luminous silhouettes on the wall, as soon as someone enters the room, thanks to its smart sensors. If the lights projected are all white, then everything is in order. But, if some of them have changed color, it means that something is not working right.
