Facebook "Pages" vs. "Profiles" for marketing.
Before we all knew about FB Pages, we were creating profiles for our businesses so that we could have a presence. However, what many of us didn't realise (because we "always" read the fine print before we check the box, don't we?) was that we were breaking the FB terms & conditions in doing so.
The thing to remember is that having circumvented the T&C's, FB can take down the profile without recourse leaving you high and dry. Better to create a FB Page and transfer your existing clients from "friends" of your profile to "likers" of your page and then you're safe.
Creating a page is simple, you can do this from your personal profile, and you can make anyone who has liked the page an Admin so it isn't just you that has to do the updates.
Once you have a page and if it is either in Spain or related to Spain, then pop along and join the group www.facebook.com/LikeSpainMembers in order to get it publicised and increase your reach.
Anyone who has liked your page will see your updates in their news feed and can share them amongst their circle of friends.
Don't forget to add to your page periodically and to keep the content relevant. Too often and people may decide to unlike, similarly posting lots of individual pictures will flood people's News Feeds, if you have a lot of pictures to share, create an album and share that instead.
