Here's a quick scenario for you to help visualise how BIG the impact actually is.

Imagine you're taking a trip from SF to NY to meet a customer face-to-face (this includes hotel stay). You fly there, get a taxi to your hotel, grab a quick bite to eat, and finally have that important meeting.

Now imagine you decide that this meeting can be done virtually at the office. You commute 15 minutes, sit at your desk, and do a 60-minute virtual meeting.

The difference: The virtual meeting eliminates 1,506 lbs of Co2. Do you know what that means? It takes 1 tree just 2 months to offset this small amount of Co2. What about the face-to-face meeting in NY? It takes 32 trees 🌳🌳🌳🌳 a full year to offset the Co2 from one face-to-face meeting! When we put this into perspective, it makes you think about what meeting you should have.

Remote selling is here to stay, but face-to-face components are coming back, as well. We have existing relationships, and now that we can, we are thrilled to meet clients outside again. But still, 70-80% of our buyers prefer remote human interactions or even digital self-service. So, the question is, would your client prefer to see you virtually or face-to-face, and how to decide what’s the best move?

In the end, it's the client's desire that we should gravitate towards. But your client is changing and preparing for the future too and sometimes they don't really know the best way forward.
