Desde Peñafiel, brindamos por una tierra de paisajes diversos, tradiciones compartidas y una cultura del vino construida a lo largo de generaciones.

At Protos, architecture also speaks of our origins.

At the foot of Peñafiel Castle, our w**ery offers a contemporary interpretation of Ribera del Duero’s w**emaking tradition. Its five ceramic vaults echo the rooftops of the town, while much of the w**ery lies beneath the ground, making use of its natural conditions for w**emaking and ageing.

Designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners together with Alonso Balaguer y Arquitectos Asociados, it is a place where tradition, landscape and architecture exist in harmony.

Today, we celebrate World Architecture Day from one of the places that best represents the identity of Protos.

En Protos, la arquitectura también habla de nuestro origen.
A los pies del Castillo de Peñafiel, nuestra bodega reinterpreta en clave contemporánea la tradición vitivinícola de la Ribera del Duero. Sus cinco bóvedas cerámicas dialogan con los tejados de la localidad, mientras gran parte de sus instalaciones se integran bajo tierra, aprovechando sus condiciones naturales para la elaboración y crianza del vino.

Diseñada por Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners junto con Alonso Balaguer y Arquitectos Asociados, es un espacio donde tradición, paisaje y arquitectura conviven en equilibrio.

Hoy celebramos el Día Mundial de la Arquitectura desde uno de los lugares que mejor representa la identidad de Protos.

Crafted from Tinta Fina grapes sourced from some of our oldest vineyards in Ribera del Duero, it spent 36 months in French oak and evolved for a decade in the bottle.

A limited edition of 4,822 bottles that captures the depth of an exceptional vintage and the value of time.

In Ribera del Duero, our care begins long before harvest. Starting in August, we carefully select clusters and attend to every detail through thinning and green pruning, helping ensure uniformity, vineyard health and optimal ripening. We also monitor phenolic maturity by tasting the grape skins and seeds.

Here, red varieties are harvested later, between late September and October, with each plot selected according to altitude, exposure and sanitary conditions.

Because in every harvest, excellence comes first. 🍇

En Ribera del Duero, nuestros cuidados comienzan mucho antes de la vendimia. A partir de agosto, seleccionamos cuidadosamente los racimos y atendemos cada detalle mediante el aclareo y la poda en verde, favoreciendo la homogeneidad, la sanidad del viñedo y una maduración óptima. También hacemos seguimiento de la maduración fenólica, catando la piel y la pepita de la uva.

Aquí, las variedades tintas se vendimian más tarde, entre finales de septiembre y octubre, seleccionando cada parcela según su altitud, exposición y estado sanitario.

Porque en cada vendimia, lo primero es la excelencia. 🍇
