Borussia Dortmund have signed the highly rated striker Erling Braut Haaland from RB Salzburg, paying the release clause of €22.5m with the 19-year-old’s advisor, Mino Raiola, receiving a €10m payment on top of that.

The much-hyped teenager, who has recently been linked with a host of top clubs in the Premier League and around Europe, has signed a contract until 30 June 2024 while Salzburg will receive a percentage of any future sale.

Tottenham sack manager Mauricio Pochettino after 5 years in charge!

Last year's achievement to Champions League's final could not prevent the disappointing decision by Tottenham to sack Pochettino. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy said "We were extremely reluctant to make this change. It is not a decision the board has taken lightly, nor in haste,"

Tottenham spent only £28.25 million during Pochettino's time, well below other competing clubs. Manchester City, for example, spent more £533.99 million over the five years, but this season, Pochettino’s team took 14 points from 12 matches and sits at 14 in the table.

Dele tweeted "I can’t thank this man enough. He’s taught me so much and I’m so grateful for everything he’s done for me. Good luck and hope to see you again my friend."

Jose Mourinho is in the talks to replace him.

Who is Erling Haaland?

Erling Haaland is a Norwegian footballer (1.91m tall) who plays as a striker for Austrian Football Bundesliga club Red Bull Salzburg.
Haaland has attracted attention from all over Europe after an astonishing start to the season in which he’s bagged 26 goals in 18 appearances.
The teenager leads 2019/20 UCL's top scorers with 7 goals and has already scored four hat-tricks this term and Solskjaer had hoped his personal relationship with the forward would see him pick Old Trafford.
If united could come to agree on January, they would allow him to finish the season at Salzburg, but United faces a race for the striker from the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid.
