Company History
Icon Management and Finance Solutions PLC was established on July 2009 registered as per the Ethiopian law to conduct consultancy and training service. The company was established with limited liability partnership of three Ethiopians with experiences in the areas of Finance, Management and Business Consultancy. At the outset the company started its operation as an acco

unting firm with its main focus in the air travel industry. As an entry strategy the company purposed to operate in one industry and gradually expand to other industries and also into the business and management consultancy. What we do

1. Undertaking outsourced Financial services of organizations
2. Payroll administration
3. Undertaking credit collection and receivable administration service of organizations;
4. Undertaking property administration and management of organizations;
5. Undertaking of marketing and sales activities of organizations
6. Rendering support service to organizations;
7. Giving Training in the areas of accounting, management, leadership, human resource management, sales and marketing;
8. Setting up financial systems of organizations;
9. Setting up organizations;
10. Undertaking Outsourcing domestic or offshore Procurement activities including Identifying suppliers;
11. Undertaking Company Business Process Reengineering (BPR) or operation restructuring, Work-flow automation, Business process Automation (BPA) and solution development
12. Undertaking various activities through Business Process Outsourcing BPO)
13. Rendering management, business, tax and financial consultancy services
14. Undertaking Airline GDS (Global Distribution System) cost recovery service in collaboration with Global service providers
15. Undertaking other activities helpful for the attainment of the aforementioned objectives. Management and staffing

On Friday March 3rd we signed an agreement with Orit Events LLC in Dubai to develop and work on soft skills training, investment promotions and events in Dubai. We aspire to share our long years of experience in human and business development to the Dubai market. We will also be working in investment and market link between Ethiopia and UAE.
The strong market presence and network Orit has in Dubai market coupled with Icon’s high caliber staff and experience will create a synergy through which we will be able to provide great service.

On October 31st we had a very productive meeting with Joram Mwinamo, CEO of SDNBX. Our discussions focused on possible areas of collaboration and how we can replicate the success of SNDBX into Ethiopian entrepreneurship and start-up ecosystem.

SNDBX has created and successfully run one of its kind cohesive business support center, modeled upon an African village concept, where a business can be nurtured and grow amongst multiple experts. I have noted how the vision SNDBX and Icon Solutions aligns and also impressed with the passion and skill set that Joram and his team have developed.
