Our production site is situated within a biodiverse environment dominated by mature indigenous forest cover and intercropped fruit trees, including banana, avocado, pineapple, and passion fruit, as well as aromatic plants such as lemongrass, ginger, cardamom, and tena adam. Coffee trees are relatively young and cultivated under permanent, multi-layered shade provided by these indigenous species, contributing to slower cherry maturation and increased cup complexity.
The site is located at an elevation range of 1,950–2,250 meters above sea level, ideal for high-density growth and refined flavor development. The primary coffee varieties cultivated are Kurume and Wolisho, both well-adapted indigenous Ethiopian landraces known for their high cup quality potential at high altitude.
More than 150 smallholder farmers selectively harvest and deliver hand-picked, fully ripe red cherries to the site. Cherry intake is strictly controlled to ensure traceability, consistency, and optimal raw material quality.
We focus on limited-volume production of high-end micro and nano lots, prioritizing quality over yield. Our coffees are produced exclusively for exceptional and specialty-driven clients seeking distinctive flavor profiles, terroir transparency, and meticulous processing standards.
