Taste of Harvest Ethiopia Auction 2026 🇪🇹

We’re proud to have two Gujoo Trading coffees selected for this year’s auction:

Wate Honey — carefully processed using the honey method at our Wate Washing Station in West Guji, bringing out the natural sweetness and character of the coffee.

Benti Washed — a clean and carefully processed washed coffee from Benti Nenqa West Guji, reflecting the high-altitude growing conditions and distinctive quality of the area.

Bidding starts August 25
Starting bid: US$15/kg

From the farmers and communities of West Guji to the international stage, we’re proud to see these coffees representing the quality and potential of Ethiopian coffee.

We were very happy to welcome Algrano roasters and staff to Gujoo Trading’s Natural Drying Station and Wate Washing Station.

It was a pleasure to share our coffee journey from cherry selection, processing, drying, and quality preparation directly at origin. During their visit, our guests also experienced the beauty of traditional Guji culture, including local foods, drinks, and warm community hospitality.

At Gujoo, we believe coffee is more than a product, it is culture, people, land, and legacy.

From Ancestral Forests to Future Generations.

Introducing the third new Gujoo Trading jute bag design for the 2026/27 harvest season.

This design celebrates the beauty, strength, and identity of the Oromo people. The traditional clothing and ornaments represent the diversity of Oromo tribes and communities, each carrying its own colors, patterns, and cultural meaning. These garments are a symbol of pride, belonging, heritage, and the deep connection between people, land, and tradition.

The young woman holding ripe coffee cherries represents care, hope, and the next generation carrying forward the legacy of Guji coffee. The forest behind her reflects where our coffee begins in ancestral land, protected by tradition and nurtured by our communities.

This project is more than a new jute bag design. It is Gujoo Trading’s way of sharing our story with the world: Oromo culture, Guji heritage, women’s contribution, farmer empowerment, sustainable coffee, and respect for the forest that has supported our families for generations.

Every bag from the 2026/27 harvest will carry not only Ethiopian specialty coffee, but also the story of our people, our culture, and our future.
