Well com to Dorze yo yo yo yo yo yoooo Meskel 2015E.C!!!
Meskel to all Ethiopian&all my friends Happy New Year&In wish you to have a beautiful holiday!!
Where i live know my people we start meskel,in month of September 1up to september 30
Yo yo yo yo yo yoooo meskel festivity which stays for the whole month of september&we practiced by all Dorze community&meskel celebration is so special
For meskel celebration a people slaught around 1500-2000 oxen in Dorze market which is available on market day which is September 16/26
Before caning up of slaughting day we have four special market days&we ceremony in each market day it mean:
1/ September 2(12)will be held on Monday we call this day"Ingicha Gaye"
2/ Next market day Thursday September 5(15) we call "Goya Gaye"
3/ 3rd market day next Monday September 9(19) we call "Goshawk Gaye"
4/ last market day September 12(22) we call "Gamo Gaye" at this last market day there is Competition & parents choose as beautiful girls to their boys
At end of this four market days we prepar forage to who they come from Adis Abeba they stay for all the year their & they come back to celebrate meskel from all over Ethiopia & all the families meeting after one year & it is like well coming food for all the families be tougher & the food (forage) the name we call "Keso Katha" which is in September 14(24) on Saturday.
After slaughting day on September 17(27) all our people including children, kids & all old men & women we have traditional wearing style & dancing & singing all at the day, this day we call it "Uti Pesha" at the this ceremony all people are blessed by priests & local elders.
I want to invite all people & my beloved family & who they live Ethiopia & other parts of the countries.coming to visit this our special festival!!!
