Oil sands production creates some of the toughest process conditions there are.

Highly abrasive media, changing operating conditions, and the need for stable separation all put heavy demands on level control and valve performance.

Getting interface control right is important for avoiding process disturbances and unplanned shutdowns. It also helps prevent bitumen losses to tailings, reduce contamination risk, and support separation efficiency downstream.
