Sometimes all it takes is a great blog theme someone else has developed, and with a little tuning you make it your own. That's what I did for my hobby, which I hope to also turn into a successfull business in the future. Maybe one day, I will be able to merge Simply Jo and Pink Mousse, and make one of my biggest dreams come true.

A little late, but hopefully you started well into 2015 and I wish you a successful year!

Just before Christmas I finished updating a static page to a responsive design: www.jullis.com
After years of having just a static page we found it important to update, also because the amount of mobile users had increased by 25% over the last year. And I believe that one of the most important things for any business with walk-in customers is: giving the customers the opening hours, address and other important information right at the beginning, on all possible devices.

The Ylläs Express website is now online in a new design after we last redesigned it in 2009. This time we went with a responsive design and added bus schedules. We will add online booking for the Airport Express and ticket buying options for the scheduled busses next year.

2013 was somehow mostly about busy work in the background and it seems like 2014 will be the year of new challenges and developing my skills in very different areas. I usually don't read any news, except when a friend posts something interesting on facebook. This caught my attention and it almost left me speechless: The Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre "Helsingin Messukeskus" was rebranded. Their new name is "Messukeskus". I wonder if it cost as much as going from Swissair to Swiss?
