We've upgraded our Tukkutori Studio with a pre-rigged modular truss system, complete with chain hoists and dedicated rigging points.

Less setup time. More flexibility. Cleaner overhead rigging.

Combined with on-site production support, controllable daylight and Virtual Production capabilities through our partner Formlös, the studio is ready for commercials, film productions, events, castings and workshops.

A huge congratulations to our very own Mikko Saarelainen, Head of Light & Grip, who is celebrating an incredible 10-year journey at Kinos Rentals!

As a part of the Kinos crew since the early days, Mikko knows all the equipment at the Kinos Light and Grip departments inside out. He is always happy to help both big and small productions find the perfect solutions for their needs.

During the last decade, Mikko has kept up with the latest technological advancements in the industry, worked incredibly hard, and built great relationships with colleagues, clients and industry peers. And he will surely strive to do so in the future as well.

12 months ago, we decided to move closer to our customers. Now it’s done, and we’re excited to see how much our Tukkutori location has already been appreciated.

Located right in the center of Helsinki’s creative hub, with shorter travel times, a new studio, and indoor parking facilities, the move has brought us closer than ever.

Over the next 12 months, we’ll continue developing our operations in Tukkutori and beyond, strengthening our presence across Finland and neighboring regions together with our partners. We truly believe that working closer and together benefits everyone in the film community.
