Customer visit at Prisma Kouvola 👋

Great to be out in the store and see our solutions in everyday use.

Prisma Kouvola has recently introduced our 10" electronic shelf labels in the beverage department, with more displays waiting to be installed across the department.

The store already uses EWQ ScanToPair in the fruit and vegetable department, as well as our queue management solution at the meat and fish service counters.

We also had some great discussions with the Prisma team and received valuable feedback and ideas for further development. These conversations are an important part of how we continue to improve our solutions.

Warehouse Operations Now on 1st Floor 🚚📦

We've moved our warehouse facilities from the 4th floor to the 1st floor at:

📍 Höyläämötie 1 B, 1st Floor

The new location streamlines both inbound and outbound logistics. With goods reception and dispatch now on the same level, materials can be handled more efficiently without relying on elevators, resulting in faster workflows and smoother daily operations.

Team spirit, learning, and fun moments together ⚽✨

This week, the EWQ team came together one last time before the summer holidays at Bolt Arena for our Team Building Day.

Throughout the day, we enjoyed inspiring presentations and discussions on healthier lifestyles and effective working practices, as well as an interview with Finnish football legend Teemu Pukki.

The day continued with football activities that brought out great teamwork and plenty of smiles.

A big thank you to everyone who joined and contributed to making the day such a success and we wish everyone a nice midsummer! 🧡

Meet Otso, one of our summer employees at EWQ! ☀️

This summer, Otso is a valuable contributor, helping our logistics team with the relocation of our warehouse from the 4th floor to the 1st floor. From the beginning of July, EWQ's service, logistics, and warehouse operations will be running from our new premises.

Otso is 17 years old and studying in his second year to become an electrician at Omnia Leppävaara. He sees this summer job as a great opportunity to gain work experience, strengthen his CV, and learn how to use different tools and equipment. In his free time, he enjoys Thai boxing, hunting, and fishing.

We are happy to have him on the team and look forward to a great summer together 👏

Meet Our Summer Employees ☀️

This summer, Nea and Petronella are part of the EWQ team.

Nea is a 23 year old master's student in Business Administration at the University of Jyväskylä, majoring in Marketing. She is already spending her fifth summer at EWQ and enjoys the variety of tasks and the opportunity to learn something new every day.

Petronella is an 18 year old recent high school graduate who has applied to study Media. Having returned for a second summer at EWQ, she enjoys gaining hands on experience while exploring her interests in communications, English, and coding.

Our 30th anniversary celebration brought together customers, partners and friends from Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark for an unforgettable evening.

Looking around the venue, one thing stood out above everything else: the people. The conversations, laughter, shared memories and new connections made the celebration truly special.
