Have you ever looked so close? 👀

Lichen on trees is a sign of pure air! It was manually or chemically removed from branches according to the old ideals of environmental aesthetics. Now many varieties of lichen are endangered.

I’m really enjoying the zoom-in practice as the signs of plant characteristics become evident in a whole other way compared to text books! You’ll find the oak stars and hair between first and second bulbs on the Amelanchier.

Oh how I miss these!

The Block Concert series of Helsinki Festival 2021 introduced 17 different artists giving 50 concerts in different locations around town last September.

It was my biggest production so far, and very close to heart by making urban spaces coming alive, giving space and voice to various artists and strengthening the community culture hyper-locally. Indeed lovely!

Amazing atmosphere and support within the Helsingin juhlaviikot / Helsinki Festival team.

Huomenet Marjaniemestä! Vastapetokimppaan ripsiäisistä on ilmoittautunut vasta 3 henkilöä (ja tapahtumaan 7 kiinnostunutta), joten siirrämme tapahtumaa tasan viikolla eteenpäin.

The ongoing production of the Helsinki Festival Block Concert series is a deep dive in the Helsinki divisional map. Super interesting! It’s perfect opportunity to refresh memory of the city values and strategies too.

"100 000 sunflowers to Helsinki" was voted as one of the public favorites on Helsinki Day. Thanks for each and everyone's votes, we're so excited!

See you on June 12th at Kääntöpöytä / Turntable where you can pick up seeds and seedlings for free! We also share seeds of wood anemone, the provincial flower of capital region Uusimaa. 100 first pickers get a planting shovel and gloves too.

More info coming soon in the form of a Facebook event together with great partners Berry Guerilla, Dodo, Frantsilan Luomuyrttitila, HÖRBS and Labby Catering.
