We're spinning LEGIT out as a standalone company from Dot. and we're excited to introduce our new LEGIT CEO, Netta Heikkilä.

Legal design success story → Privacy policy redesigned!

This (legal) design work is entirely the work of our fantastic law students. And we are beyond proud of how far they got in just a few weeks in Legal Design School, a 5-credit course for the University of Helsinki.

What you don't see from the picture is the user research (planning and conducting interviews and coming up with personas), ideation phase, information design, and lo-fi prototyping, on which the interactive prototypes are wholly based.

These prototypes are made using Figma – a design tool our students had never used or heard of before the course. The fact that they managed to develop such high-quality (and working!) prototypes after only one 1,5 hour long ''follow-along'' lecture proves the potential that lawyers have for more accessible, understandable and visually beautiful law.

Client: Jet Set Singles (fictional dating-app company, created for Legal Design School)

Concept #1 (desktop): Privacy policy dating app game (originally designed for mobile, that's why you see these ''swipe up/left/right buttons that indicates interaction on mobile). What a great concept for a dating-app company to introduce their privacy matters!

Concept #2 (mobile): An in-app privacy policy that is easily accessible, usable and brand-toned. Users can easily download/see the personal data Jet Set Singles has stored of them.
