Innovation in social and health care is no longer an isolated project. Instead, it is an ongoing operational standard for the City of Helsinki! 💡🏥
For nearly 20 years, we have partnered with the city to ensure our social, health, and rescue services (Sotepe) meet the needs of residents and staff members. By experimenting with new technologies in real environments, we are building a more efficient, proactive, and resident-focused city.
Highlights of our development work includes:
🔹The Power of Agile Pilots: From the Children's Hospital to Laakso Joint Hospital, agile pilots have helped to quickly identify which new technologies work and which ones don't. This approach saves taxpayers' money by preventing misguided investments.
🔹Empowering Staff & Patients: With pilots, we have reclaimed valuable working time and improved care by integrating new solutions such as remote home care appointments, virtual reality rehabilitation games, and service robots into daily routines.
🔹Data-Driven Decision Making: Beyond devices, we have created predictive climate tools and citizen-led air quality data to allocate resources equitably and proactively safeguard resident well-being.
Experimenting alongside companies, city experts, and citizens ensures that every euro is invested in solutions that deliver genuine, real-world impact.
