Säästöpankki Group’s successful strategy in Conversational AI has taken them from zero to ‘Miljo’
The financial well-being of the individual and the community has been the core value of Säästöpankki Group for 200 years. Their embrace of AI-based Conversational AI tools has only strengthened this relationship and the benefits it brings to their customers.
From a relatively insignificant base, Säästöpankki Group has gone from no chatbots to the best digital customer experience in the Finnish banking sector. From the early days of their Hedvig internal virtual assistant, the AI bot has evolved into Miljo, which now also utilises natural language recognition with customers. Miljo has exceeded expectations and currently exclusively serves unidentified customers whilst successfully handling more than 80% of issues from known customers.
