"The Myth and Art of Feminine Power" by Aino Luukkanen built in Gallery Fast Creative. It turns out that Aino had been dreaming of having an art exhibition in my gallery since she came there to see the art exhibition in spring 2019.

Aino came to talk to me after my CREATE creative leadership workshop in Crush. Pieces have been falling into place very naturally. I haven't had any new art exhibitions since 2023, but this was meant to be.

Since the opening is in my third and last CREATE creative leadership workshop on November 3rd which happens to be my daughters birthday, we had the idea to include my daughter among the goddesses, and I gifted her a wonderful photo shoot with me and Aino in Hvitträsk.

Next Monday we will celebrate not only my daughter, but all Finnish goddesses and the strengths of everyone joining my creative leadership workshop surrounded by art and music and uplifting atmosphere.

The story of one entrepreneur: He didn't want to die - so he went from lambfarming in the mountains to violin making. 🐑🎻 (You have to see the video to learn more...)

He didn't want to die, and hired Hintsa Performance coaching.

Running two businesses in Finland in Finnish is not a small thing. Especially with roadworks outside the shop two years, followed by Covid, followed by a facade renovation (which the landlord forgot to tell about) and war around the corner resulting in cautious money use by customers.

I am so proud of my husband who was headhunted to Finland from UK 22 years ago, became the Director of Restauration of Risto Vainio's reputable violin shop, and founded his own company How Violins OY 15 years ago with the target to serve the customer with perfection and care whether the customer is a small child, a starter with stringed instruments or a super star in the field.

Every instrument gets the same attention with a unique life long guarantee, and every customer is seen. He has been said to have changed the culture in the violin making field in Finland.

Ten years ago I came along and added my little touch with bringing more beauty to the shop along with art and events. My husband is a smart man, and he listened to his wife also when he noticed he needed help. The same week as I launched my CREATE book in January 2023 and we had a big launch event in the violin shop, my husbands vision started to fade. Quite a catastrophe for a violin maker.

Hintsa had been in touch with me because of my HR profession, and I thought their holistic approach might suit Guy. When he had the first meetings with his coaches it seemed as though he became more calm. He felt he had a team holding his back.

Guy, who excels anything he puts his mind on, became the star-student of Hintsa Performance, recovering with amazing speed taking all the steps he said he would. A tired man became vibrant again and joyful when stepping in through the door to his family.

Guys story is amazing and this brilliant video reveals a glimps of it also to you.

He was a great husband all along and now he is more likely to keep his promise to me - his promise to not die. ❤️

Elina Koponen had bought my book and was inspired by it and invited me to speak at The Change Masters -seminar in January 2024.

She welcomed me to the stage for my Keynote with a wonderful introduction:

"I need to give some background - this has really hit me hard! Maija wrote a book about creativity, and I bought and read it in early autumn. The book has been one major influence on something that has awakened inside me this fall. Because this wild and energetic fitness instructor and very competitive person has somehow calmed down this autumn and found their inner creativity, among other things, because of this book, I made my first art purchase this autumn and I'm very happy about it. It brings me joy every day on my wall at home. We need creativity now perhaps more than ever before. Welcome Maija Fast and creative leadership in coaching..."

Later on I received a message saying that my book had impacted Elina big time to start painting and making it public:

Painting has completely swept me away ❤️ I've already received purchase requests for a couple of paintings and have arranged an art exhibition in Tampere for next autumn. Even if I am writing in the CREATE book that creativity is not art, it’s a mindset - art is a great outlet for your creativity. It’s also very therapeutic to do things with your hands as something to balance the everyday life behind computers.

Creativity can be something different for you. The important thing is to open up your eyes with curiosity and start seeing the possibilities around you. Life is much more enjoyable when you find your kind of creativity and welcome it to your life.

"I´m enjoying your book a lot, Oh my god!! I have lived through many of the situations you describe, and reading it is helping me like therapy."

CREATE book review from Spain. What a gift that my book is perceived as helping someone like therapy!

The writing of it was like therapy for me diving deep in it every second weekend when my children were away. I was waiting for my writing weekends and the book gave me back my confidence.

When doing CREATE creative leadership coaching following the C-R-E-A-T-E model I crafted, I have been reading my own book when preparing myself for the coaching sessions and I have surprised even myself how good the steps are. They are helping also myself and I've been thinking that I should do my own CREATE process regularly.

Even if one would be aware of certain things, we don't necessarily act like that constantly in everyday life. It's been wonderful to coach the C-R-E-A-T-E steps and learn so much from my amazing coachees.

Beauty is essential for me. I see beauty all around me. Hence, I also love flowers. 🌸

We celebrated our wedding in our own special way in a unique location. I always wanted to have a red dress and flowers in my hair.

I came across on Instagram. Her page was tasteful and inviting.

Mirja was a real find. She listened to me. She didn't try to sell us something over the budget. She had a professional and elegant approach, and she was lovely!

I picked up some flowers for decorations the day before the event, and my husband picked up my headflowers on the wedding day before my hairdo was done, and everything was ready on time and as agreed.

I was especially taken when Mirja brought the rest of the flowers to the violin shop gallery. She was as excited as it would have been her own wedding! She was really living the happy moment with us.

Mirja thanked us with a thoughtful card for having the chance to share the experience with us.

And I got what I wanted. It was very close to what I had imagined, but possibly better.

I can warmly recommend for weddings and other parties.

This is not paid partnership but cudos from my heart 🩷.

Everybody has an age. Everyone is impacted by agediversity or the lack of it.

It was wonderful to bring together people again at and Gallery .ninja on Friday September 29th. This time with the theme agediversity at the launch of our book Ikädiversiteetillä menestykseen published by .

The authors Minna Levander, Anne Mikkilä, Sirena Sera, Pia Helenius and myself were present as well as the producer of the book .
holma, Satu Suvisaari and Timo Vatanen were unfortunately not able to come this time but they were with us in spirit. I am grateful to have received these people into my life most of whom I didn't know before we kick started the brave thing of writing a book together. The great cause was our common driving force.

During the launch evening we had a wonderful violin performance by the students of Sandels music academy Elsa Sanhaie and Mirjam Mannila. We also got a hilarious poem performance by Thomas Jelley. I am very grateful that you accepted my invitation and helped us create a warm atmosphere.

I was happy to see a lot of inspired and engaged people, who were in awe of what we had created. A lot of books were sold too.

Also a couple of pieces of Paula Pitkänen's art was sold during the evening. .art's beautiful Butterfly Bay art exhibition is still to be seen in How Violins/Gallery Fast Creative, Mechelininkatu 28b, until Saturday October 7th. Link to the pieces of art in the comments.

Wonderful weekend of going with the flow.

Timeless time, spontaneous picking of flowers, art, delicious food, beauty, nature, friends, love, and space for new creative ideas.

Sometimes, it's good to get a break from everyday life.

Do you believe in new beginnings?

The beautiful art exhibition Butterfly Bay by .art represents metamorphosis, the development to become a new flourishing you.

The art exhibition was designed to be in the violin shop and Gallery Fast Creative .ninja both during wedding celebrations and during the book launch of Agediversity for Success (Ikädiversiteetillä menestykseen).

The motivation to write the book differed between the eight authors. I wanted to change how we speak about experienced employees in the Finnish society. I also want to influence how the reality of employment looks and feels for people above 50 years. These things walk hand in hand.

Someone else had personally experienced challenges during their career.

A third person had been fired in the age of 55 and had re-invented herself as an entrepreneur, flourishing and creating a new life.

All these energies of change are present at the book launch event on Fri, September 29th, in How Violins. There will be bubbly conversations alongside art, music, and poetry.
