Dear aggression, I didn't need you nearly as much I thought I would. Our relationship had to change.
I thought you were there to protect me. To keep me safe, but you took too much space and became a monster that scared people.
You brought trouble and mistrust. When I held you back, you still whispered the words of doupt and kept me alart. You made me oversuspisious of everything. And you found your ways to let know that you are there with your over critical evaluations of things.
You took a lot of space, spreaded everywhere, moved to the livingroom. Left your things and dirty fingerprints everywhere.
I remember whe you were born, and the memory makes me cry. You were born in darkness where I was left alone and scared as a baby. And I remember how you grew out of bad words an bullying I felt I was a victim for. You were there in my dark thoughts when I was young. And you attacked against me too, saying I am not worth anything and no-one loves me. You took me to the edge, cutting myself and wanting to jump. But there was always love too, that seemed to make you smaller.
And I remember how you loved military, where they tried to brake me and give more space to you. Those times I felt strong with you as my armor. But more alone inside.
And you used to get stronger when I had setbacks, stress, lack of sleep and overwhelming worries.
But now as I am slowly becoming much older and I have had time to think and look the world through many other windows, I have finally seen who you are, and your form has changed. From this huge dark creature that is lurking in every corner of my house, you have come more solid and obidient. You have become my watchdog. Dear, protective and calm most of the times. And when you bark, I do check out and most of the time I calm you down.
I had a lot of help. From the professionals, who know what kind of work I needed to tame you. And I had to look back and feel back to the times of your birth and growth, but feeling safe when I did.
Dear aggression, you have finally found your place and form. And have become the dear and loyal friend that you were always ment to be.
