We are happy to announce the release of two data logging main units for RC cars. The Collector Mini v1.1 adds a second analog input while keeping the same dimensions and the same price as the original Mini. The Collector Midi is a new unit with six analog inputs.

Both come with an improved lap receiver that can be mounted behind a painted bodyshell. Also Analyzer Pro and Manager Pro subscriptions for 12 months are included with both units.

This release is the first step in expanding the Collector portfolio's measurement capabilities, including damper position sensors in the coming weeks.

Mini v1.1 is available for shipping today and Midi orders will be shipped around mid-September.

Last week we made pretty nice updates to Manager and Analyzer :)

* For Manager the key improvement is weather system integration so you will get current weather conditions for runs, see weather forecasts and rain radar image. We also improved the event/session search and dashboard to have more useful info.

* Analyzer got support for VBOX Motorsport VBO file format, so you can open the exports from both .pro Micro and Lite. At the same time we added support for GPS data. You can also create run to Manager from Analyzer after you have opened the VBO file.

* On top of that we have implemented constants for math channels for advanced analytics. Constants allows making user defined constants, using numeric conditions from runs or even numeric values from setup sheets in your math channels!

* Data reports are now available for all users and it has evolved a lot! For example new visualizations and math channel support are available. In the examples you see the air time per lap calculated from vertical acceleration against lap times.

* Coach TQ got smarter as well and got new strategy skill. Knowledge has improved greatly. For example you can ask explanation for chassis dynamics topics and also it can help to understand what data should be measured, what should be calculated for analytics to see the setup changes you make.

Last week we released a powerful new feature in Manager called Data Reports. It lets Collector users build statistical reports from measured data, from a single session up to a whole season. For example, you can pick a setup parameter and a data channel and generate a report that visualizes the impact of a setup change.

Screenshots has couple of examples
* Comparing the steering behavior of two drivers across an event, by counting how many times steering crossed the neutral position per lap on average.
* Average battery voltage per lap per run across one event. Utilizes new build functionality in Manager which allows tracking e.g. which battery is in the car and then map data against the parts.
* Shock piston change impact on steering usage by visualizing total steering effort per lap. Highlight here is the point where piston changes and in the next run requires more steering effort. This relates to the data analytics article I published earlier. Check the link from comments.

Cross-session statistical reporting like this isn't standard even in full-scale motorsport. The analysis tools there are built around single sessions and lap overlays, so this kind of work usually means exporting to Excel. Having it built in, with setup parameters and parts joined to the data, is quite unusual at any scale.

The feature is still experimental, and a lot more capability is coming in the next releases.

This week it's time for Electric Touring EFRA European Championship at . Euros are always super nice events so enjoy the race and good luck everyone!

TestLogger Manager is properly prepared for this event as track is available, public event created, lap times via Mylaps practice and setup sheets are available for popular touring cars like Mi9 and Mi10, X4 2026 and A800 platform and IRIS Racing One.2.

Now is a great opportunity to get quick start on using TestLogger Manager.

Unfortunately MyRCM lap time import in TestLogger Manager is not available for the time being, so we decided to enable lap time import from image to all users! Check out the video to see how the feature works.
