ECHO Business Outreach Event at Hillhead, UK

Last week, between June 25 and 27, our Partners from Lekatech Oy and Iberian Sustainable Mining Cluster (ISMC) took part in a unique event – Hillhead - International quarrying, construction + recycling show.

Hillhead is the UK’s largest quarrying, construction, and recycling exhibition organized at a distinctive location – Hillhead Quarry, Buxton, Derbyshire, UK.

Visitors to the Lekatech Oy stand witnessed the launch of the LEKA Toras 35 – a revolutionary electric hammer built on the development of the company’s original mode, known simply as the Lekatech Electric Hammer and had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the possibilities it offers.

The Conference of PhD Students and Young Scientists was held on June 13-15, 2023. The event was an opportunity for young scientists from around the world to exchange scientific and technical ideas and experiences within the framework of four thematic panels: Mining Engineering, Earth and Space Sciences, Geoengineering and Geoinformation.

With an impressive turnout of nearly 90 participants, this year’s December 5 event was a dynamic convergence of ideas, featuring seven engaging speeches in the “share an idea” session, five thought-provoking presentations, and an enriching experience with three panel discussions.

This year, on October 27-28, a unique occasion was celebrated – the 55th Anniversary of the Mining Faculty. The ceremonial event consisted of presentations on ongoing projects during the day and a grand evening feast.

DMC special session at CPSYS!

Digital Mining Center team members actively participated in the XXIII Conference of PhD Students and Young Scientists organized on June 13-15 at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Politechnika Wrocławska, Wydział Geoinżynierii, Górnictwa i Geologii PWr).
Participation in the Conference resulted in the dissemination of the project themes, exchange of experiences, and making science and social contacts.
