Today, FinVector had the pleasure and honor of participating in the graduation ceremony of 💛

It is always a special moment to be part of sending graduates off at the beginning of their careers – a journey full of opportunities, learning, and growth.

During the event, our PMO & OpEx Director, Mikko Kämäräinen, delivered an inspiring speech highlighting the collaboration between Sakky and FinVector, while also sharing valuable insights for those entering a professional journey.

One key takeaway was the importance of continuous learning – professional life is never static, but an ongoing opportunity to develop and grow.

In May 2026, we join the movement of Bladder Cancer Month.

This annual global initiative highlights a form of cancer that often goes unnoticed, yet affects more than 610,000 people each year and over 1.9 million people are currently living with the disease.

Awareness remains low and symptoms are frequently overlooked or misinterpreted, even though early diagnosis dramatically increases the chance of effective treatment and long-term survival.

Bladder Cancer Awareness Month is a chance for everyone to contribute to stronger awareness and understanding of bladder cancer, challenge misconceptions and make sure people recognise the importance of acting early when something feels unusual.

On February 4th we are raising awareness of cancer. The World Cancer Day theme 2025-2027, “United by Unique,” places people at the centre of care and their stories at the heart of the conversation.

In the year 2021, cancer diagnosis was considered in 20 million people around the world, according to the WHO. Behind every diagnosis lies a unique human story.

Yesterday, we had the great pleasure of welcoming President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb.

During the visit, President had the possibility to hear of FinVector’s story and see our new groundbreaking gene therapy facility in the thriving science and technology district of Savilahti, , Finland.

Our Managing Director, Matthias Krieger, lead Mr President through the factory, where the President gained a deeper understanding of our capabilities and production facility — a place where Science gives Hope.

He had the opportunity to meet employees from various departments, allowing him to hear firsthand about our employees’ everyday work and the meaningful impact it has.

We are deeply grateful to President Stubb for honouring us with his visit and engaging with our people.

Today, we’re celebrating Halloween at the office, and employees can take part in a costume contest and enjoy a little treat. 🎃

New Alumni Story published! 🥳

– Haluan yksinkertaisesti kehittää osaamistani, jotta voin tehdä työni entistäkin paremmin. Lisäksi opiskelu tuo minulle itselleni uudenlaista pääomaa.

Iso Leivo haki opiskelemaan Savonialle teknologiajohtamisen asiantuntijan YAMK-tutkintoa.🏆🔥

Myös hänen aiempi amk-tutkintonsa on Savonialta. Leivo valmistui kone- ja tuotantotekniikan insinööriksi vuonna 2008.😍

Opiskeluajoilta päällimmäisenä mieleen on jäänyt kurssitovereiden kanssa koettu yhteisöllisyys sekä ulkomailla suoritettu harjoittelu.🌍

– Vietin neljä kuukautta Unkarin Budapestissä ja reissasin paljon myös muualle Eurooppaan. Ulkomaille lähteminen oli todella hyvä juttu, koska vastaavaa tilaisuutta ei enää opintojen jälkeen tule vastaan, Leivo kertoo.
