John Deere acquires Risutec's business operations 

Forest machine manufacturer John Deere Forestry Oy has acquired the business operations of Risutec Oy, which focuses on mechanized forest regeneration solutions. The acquisition strengthens the position of Risutec and John Deere in the development of forestry sectors and in serving our customers engaged in forest regeneration.

We are excited about the synergies we will achieve together with John Deere. We share a passion for forest management. John Deere's strong global position and distribution chain will help us grow together to the next level and gain the backing of a large company to enhance forest growth in all segments, comments Risutec CEO Jussi Aikala. Sales and service will be provided through John Deere and Waratah's global distribution network.

John Deere ostaa Risutecin liiketoiminnat

Metsäkonevalmistaja John Deere Forestry Oy on hankkinut metsän koneellisen uudistamisen ratkaisuihin keskittyneen Risutec Oy:n liiketoiminnat. Hankinta vahvistaa Risutecin ja John Deeren asemaa metsätalouden kehittämisessä sekä metsän uudistamista harjoittavien asiakkaidemme palvelemista.

Olemme innossamme synergiasta, jonka saavutamme yhdessä John Deeren kanssa ja jaamme yhdessä intohimon metsänhoitoon. John Deeren vahva globaali asema ja jakeluketju auttavat meitä kasvamaan yhdessä seuraavalle tasolle sekä saamaan ison yrityksen selkänojaa metsän kasvun tehostamiseen kaikissa segmenteissä, toteaa Risutec Oy:n toimitusjohtaja Jussi Aikala. Usein törmää kysymyksiin mekaanisen istutuksen tuottavuudesta, videolla asiakkaamme istuttaa lähes 300 taimen tuntivauhtia samalla hoitaen kastelun ja lannoituksen sekä dokumentoinnin. Tietenkin nopeus hieman laskee kun koneeseen täytyy ladata, tämä kuitenkin onnistuu pikalataus kaseteilla muutamassa minuutissa.
