Waldec is evolving — and with growth comes new responsibilities.
From a one-man company in Helsinki in 1989 to an international group present in 10 countries, our journey has been remarkable. Today, we are proud to be 20 dedicated professionals serving our partners across the Nordics, Baltics, and Southeast Asia.

As our organization continues to grow rapidly, we are strengthening our management structure.

We are proud to congratulate Mr. Toni Jokinen on his appointment as COO of Waldec Group.

After 18 years of working alongside our CEO, Toni now takes over full responsibility for the daily operations of Waldec Group, leading our business together with the Heads of Business Units.

Hermann Chanthabouasy continues as CEO, focusing on strategic development, BTM Scandinavia, and our operations in Thailand, Laos, and Malaysia.

This is a natural step in Waldec’s development — ensuring strong leadership, operational excellence, and continued growth.

In January, Waldec Eesti OÜ successfully sold and installed a TUNG YU Hydraulic Machinery Yu OPTI-250 machine, produced in collaboration with REP International, for Sigma Polymer Group OÜ in Kuressaare.

The OPTI-250 is the very first model in the Optimum range, engineered to deliver high production efficiency and cost optimization—without compromising on quality or durability. It is an ideal solution for manufacturers looking for accessible performance, fast implementation, and reliable operation.

Combining simplicity, efficiency, and robustness, the OPTI-250 is the result of a strong, long-standing collaboration with our trusted partner Tung Yu.
