During 2024, I have taken my working life in a slightly new direction. I started working 50% at Minorito Oy (and with its sister-company Aarja Health) earlier this year and I'm very happy to say I've been asked to stay here in a full-time position. So, from August 1st I will be working 20 days per month as Sales Coordinator, which doubles my working time to focus on Minorito's partner companies 🤩

What does this mean for my other work? Depending on the month, this arrangement gives me 1-3 days to work on other projects/tasks, primarily existing commitments with E-P WIISE ry – where I will also continue my voluntary role as Treasurer. I will remain a shareholder of Xport and will act as an advisor when needed.

The vitamins and food supplements sector is new to me, I have a lot to learn (which is always exciting) and I’m looking forward to help Minorito continue to move in a positive direction 📈

Absolutely delighted with how the "E-P Harjoittelun Rekrymessut // E-P Practical Training Recruitment Fair" worked out 🤩

I was (very) involved with E-P WIISE ry in partnership with Etelä-Pohjanmaan kauppakamari & SeAMK - Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences in organising and hosting this new, innovative kind of event, which focused on connecting companies and international students in the South Ostrobothnia region.

Here, you can see me, mic in hand, about to call the final 5 minutes of a hectic, productive and fun afternoon. Great atmosphere of cooperation between the organisers, attending companies and the students. I'm looking forward to hearing the stories from those who found a training place, that enable them to finish their degree course.

With a bit of luck, we might get to do this all over again. I'm up for it 🙋🏻‍♂️

🚜 I recently worked with Junkkari, part of the MSK Group in Finland. They had produced a very professional instructional video for users of their new seed drill and wanted a dubbed English version for their international customers.

I sat down with the team and worked through the video to make an English-language voiceover. Line-by-line we listened to the instructions, translated them into accurate but accessible English and then recorded the voiceover.

In August, I was working with my friend Mohammed Al-marrani to help him get his second Mokka Market shop open in Ideapark Seinäjoki

I was able to lean on my 10 years of experience working at Harrods in London, plus my time as an entrepreneur at Xport here in Finland. I helped Mohammed from an empty shop unit to the opening day; building the shelves, filling them with products, merchandising the displays and even serving a few customers on day 1 – I really enjoyed it and it took me back in time!

The result of our hard work is Mokka Market Ideapark which has a fresh, modern look with natural, wooden shelves and a product range that makes his authentic, international food more accessible to all customers.

My work finished a few weeks ago, but I still look in with pride at what we achieved together. Good luck Mohammed!!

🎙It was great to be back in the Sound Aces studio this week with Loota Percussion, recording a video voiceover for the new Loota Percussion 'Professional Series' drumset. This is the 2nd generation of the drumset, designed by Mika Lilja especially for acoustic performances.

I've been working with HappyOrNot Ltd. as an official UK Partner/Reseller since 2014 😀🙂😕😠

The past 12 months has been a challenge but has responded by adding antimicrobial covers to their Smiley terminals and a new selection of digital services to allow feedback to be collected, without touching a physical device.
