All right D-day is coming and the first Video is out soon! Just before that I wanna take you to a topic, relates to mathematics, but also physics and therefore vastly important topic to deeply understand and constantly study: proportional relationships: indirect and Direct Proportional relationships. For this update I came up in 5 min easily with over a 20 variables each affecting the treatment of glass -is it important -I believe it is. Follow up to the next up date following this one as the space is limited. Going to examples we can easily figure few here:

1-Sag Bending Glass a simplest one: "As the sagging (cross curvature) increases the edge size decreases and vice versa" -
Therefore -you say: indirectly proportional relationship, right?

2-Mold Tooling, hinged counter weighted mold, again easy end: "The more counter weight you have the less wing/side sagging (CC) will be. Again Indirectly Proportional Relation Ship What comes up to your minds of this? What are the variables you in your job at manufacturing level must acknowledge every day!?

5th Anniversary Celebrations Continues! Right! Glass Experts Tool Kit Part 1: Investigation of different kind of defects in safety glass requires special tools. If we look at defects after processing I prefer few important tools. Tin Side Detector without saying is always with me, Electrical Microscopes and loops are very useful. They allow you to go in depth to the defect and raise the chances of finding to the real root-cause. For example in one particular case I found the sample have reddish defect appearance and there it was: the root cause What tools you use?
