Gofore accompanied Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo in Pretoria to promote bilateral relations between Finland and South Africa.

AI Strategy Consultant Oula Järvinen and Cyber Security Consultant Vesa Muhonen represented Gofore in discussions about cooperation in digitalisation, digital public infrastructure and cybersecurity for Africa’s data centres.

Meillä oli eilen suuri kunnia isännöidä Pohjoismaiden ja Baltian digitalisaatioministerineuvoston vierailua Goforella. Neuvosto kokoontui tänään huippukokoukseen Tampereella mm. esittämään julkilausumansa EU:n digitaalinen lompakko -hankkeesta. Vilkkain keskustelu käytiin eilen tekoälystä; sen haasteista ja AI-siirtymässä tarvittavasta pienten maiden välisestä yhteistyöstä. Kiitos vierailustanne!

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming 20 students from Dumppi ry, one of our Future Talent Partner student organisations, to our office in Munich! 🥨

As part of their excursion across Germany, the group stopped by to learn more about life as a software developer in Germany – from cultural insights to real project experiences with one of our major customers.

After the presentations, we enjoyed pizza, drinks, and great conversations together. 🍕💬

It was a pleasure to host such an inspiring and curious group. Thanks for visiting, and we hope you had as much fun as we did! 🧡

Parkkihallipalon vaikutus Goforen asiakastyöhön jäi vähäiseksi

Goforen pääkonttorirakennuksen parkkihallissa keskiviikkona 1.10.2025 syttynyt tulipalo aiheutti GO21-toimistotalon evakuoinnin Tampereen keskustassa ennen puolta päivää. Henkilövahingoilta vältyttiin, ja viranomaiset selvittävät palon syttymissyytä ja kulkua.

”Arviomme mukaan tulipalon vaikutus asiakasprojekteihin jäi vähäiseksi. Kaikkein tärkeintä on, että vältyimme henkilövahingoilta. Koimme, että viranomaiset viestivät Goforen kanssa asiassa hyvin”, Gofore Oyj:n toimitusjohtaja Mikael Nylund sanoo.

It's official - Huld is now part of the Gofore Group!

Gofore's acquisition of Huld has been closed today, 1 September 2025. The acquisition significantly enhances Gofore's Intelligent Industry and Security businesses while introducing a new exciting area: Space business. ​

Gofore acquires technology company Huld 🚀

The acquisition positions Gofore among the leading players in industry digitalisation in Finland. The acquisition expands Gofore’s capabilities in the intelligent industry and security sectors and introduces space as a new sector.

Gofore’s CEO Mikael Nylund: “The acquisition of Huld excellently supports Gofore's strategic objectives. Firstly, we strengthen our position as a provider of intelligent industry services both in terms of customer portfolio and an expanding offering. Secondly, through this acquisition, we enhance Gofore's role as a provider of security in Finland and Europe.”

Founded in 2010, Huld is a technology and design company whose key client sectors include machinery and vehicles, manufacturing, defence and national security, and space. Huld currently employs 411 experts at its headquarters in Espoo and at ten locations in the Czech Republic and Finland.

Huld’s CEO Mika Kiljala: “I see significant opportunities in working as part of Gofore to grow our business together in our key customer sectors. What are the elements of a humanely digital society? This was the cornerstone question as we launched the book A Humanely Digital Society in English.

We had the privilege to present the book to dozens of ambassadors and other prestigious international guests.

The keynote speech by Digital Ambassador Stefan Lindström of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, stated that:

• Digital services rely on trust
• Trust fosters adoption on digital services
• Through automation and transparency, digitalisation can, in turn, strengthen trust and build confidence in government and institutions
• Overall, trust builds resilience - something that us as individuals and as societies need now perhaps more than ever.

The more digital society becomes, the more trust matters.
