Big congratulations to our Lead AI Designer, Anna Haverinen, for being named on Tivi’s list of the 50 most influential women leaders and role models in the Finnish technology sector. 💪

The list is based on reader nominations and celebrates people who are making an impact in the industry while shaping the conversation and direction of tech in Finland. It also aims to encourage more women to find their place in the field.

Anna was recognised for her long-term work in bringing human-centric research into decision-making in tech. This work is now more important than ever.

As Anna puts it:

“As someone with a background in the humanities, this recognition feels especially meaningful, as there are still relatively few of us in tech. With the rise of AI, the need for deep human understanding has only grown. Research shows that people, not technology, are often the real bottleneck in major change.”

Putting DEIB into practice. 🧡

For us, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging are part of how we build our culture, support each other, and continue developing the way we work. 🌱

Here are a few concrete examples of what this looks like in practice:
• Every onboarding includes a dedicated DEIB section and training, helping us build a shared understanding from the very start.
• We regularly measure belonging, inclusion, psychological safety and representation in career development to understand what’s going well and where we can learn and improve.
• Our managers receive ongoing training on current DEIB topics through the Leading Diversity and Inclusion theme.
