This certification confirms that our structural timber is produced under the requirements of NZS 3622:2004 – “Verification of Timber Properties”, together with the relevant Timber Grading Standard Operating Procedures.

Achieving Grade Verified status reflects the hard work and commitment of our people across the business — from forestry and production through to quality assurance, engineering, logistics and management. It reinforces our focus on maintaining high standards and delivering timber products our customers can trust.

Pine woodchip loading operations are currently underway at Wairiki Port, Bua, with 𝐌𝐕 𝐅𝐋 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐖𝐎𝐎𝐃 / 𝐕. 𝐅𝐋𝐊𝟎𝟏𝟑 currently alongside for loading.

The vessel is expected to load approximately 50,000 tonnes of Fiji Pine woodchips, destined for the China market. 🇫🇯

Loading operations are expected to be completed tonight, with the vessel scheduled to sail from Wairiki tomorrow morning for China.

This significant export contributes much-needed foreign exchange earnings to Fiji while generating economic activity across forestry, harvesting, transportation, port operations and other supporting services.

Importantly, Fiji Pine's operations in Vanua Levu continue to provide direct and indirect employment opportunities, supporting families, landowners, communities, contractors and local businesses across the Northern Division.

Every shipment from Wairiki represents more than just an export — it represents jobs, livelihoods, economic activity and opportunities for our communities, while showcasing Fiji's pine resources to the international market.

Tropik Wood Industries Limited invites tenders from qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of woodchip stockpile management and vessel loading services at the Lautoka Port.

The primary objective is to secure a reliable contractor to maintain the woodchip stockpile and operate the chip reclaim facility to facilitate the efficient and safe loading of bulk woodchip vessels. The Contractor will be responsible for all operations on the stockpile to ensure a continuous, high-rate supply of wood chips to the conveyor and discharge system.

Two containers are being prepared for shipment to the USA. One is already loaded, with our team now working on the second container.

𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐋𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐤𝐚 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐟🚢

Woodchip loading operations are currently underway at the Lautoka Wharf for the World Rei, a vessel from China.

With three of the six hatches successfully loaded, operations are now progressing on the fourth hatch. The team continues to work efficiently and safely to ensure the operation remains on schedule.

We would like to acknowledge our Loading Master, Sekove Bilo, who is taking on this responsibility for the first time. We commend him for stepping into the role and for his commitment throughout the operation.

And, of course, a big vinaka vakalevu to the entire team for the hard work, teamwork, and dedication that continues to keep the operation moving safely and efficiently.

We look forward to completing the remaining hatches and seeing the operation through to a successful conclusion.
