Strengthening Credit Assessment & Risk Management in Agricultural Lending
Our first training session facilitated for 2026 - a targeted training session on Strengthening Credit Assessment & Risk Management in Agricultural Lending for the Sugar Cane Growers Fund – Labasa team, as part of an initiative by Business Link Pacific.
The session focused on practical, frontline realities, including:
✔️ Understanding the unique risk profile of agricultural lending
✔️ Moving beyond sales-driven product rollouts to stronger credit assessment
✔️ Strengthening Cash Flow Forecasting (CFF) as a core credit decision tool
✔️ Aligning repayment structures with agricultural income cycles
Strong agricultural portfolios are built on disciplined assessment, realistic cash flow analysis, and confident risk management.
