From 3rd to 14th August 2026, the second batch of participants from Lion One Metals Limited visited Vatukoula Gold Mines Pte Limited (VGML) to participate in a collaborative First Aid Rescue Training Program. The program aimed to strengthen workplace safety, emergency preparedness, and rescue capabilities while promoting cooperation between the two mining organizations. As part of the program, participants also underwent a comprehensive Safety Induction, which covered VGML’s company history, safety policies and procedures, workplace requirements, and emergency response systems.

The training was facilitated by Mr. Waisale and Mr. Semi, who shared their knowledge, skills, and practical experience in First Aid and Rescue. Participants actively engaged in theoretical discussions, practical exercises, rescue techniques, and the exchange of workplace experiences. The program provided a valuable opportunity to enhance emergency response skills, encourage teamwork and cultural exchange, and further strengthen the professional relationship between Lion One Metals Limited and Vatukoula Gold Mines Pte Limited. Upon successful completion of the training course, certificates were presented to the participants by VGML OHST Manager, Mr. Timoci, and Lion One Mining OHST Manager, Mr. Paula, in recognition of their commitment, participation, and successful completion of the program.
