A great article indeed from McKinsey.

My takeaway from this:
• AI is a powerful tool that can enhance work and productivity
• I describe it as an additional member of the team that is super intelligent, super-fast and super hungry (for work)
• It is good at taking instructions, but you need to be very clear and specific
• Because of its strengths (super intelligent, super-fast, super hungry) it can become a very trusted member of the team
• TRUST but verify and that’s where the human capability of analyzing and interpreting the work of AI comes in
• Work in the future will be a partnership between people, agents, and robots — all powered by artificial intelligence
• AI will not make most human skills obsolete, but it will change how they are used

My view is that instead of fearing AI we need to start preparing and up-skill ourselves on how to collaborate with these intelligent machines.

The adoption of AI in our workplaces may be gradual, but it will eventually become a widespread and integral part of the workplace.

Employers may increasingly prize skills that add value to AI.
