In 2013, during a visit in Kuala Lumpur I had a chance to do an Interview Grand Master Yap Cheng Hai. Those among us who had the chance to meet Grandmaster Yap Cheng Hai in person will certainly agree that his answers were always genuine and real-life oriented.
Because of the length, only a part of the interview will be posted here.
TS: What do you suggest people who want to start or continue to study Feng Shui?
GM Yap: First, studying Feng Shui never ends!
TS: Which Feng Shui method is the most important one?
GM Yap: a) Water methods are the most important Feng Shui methods. Water means money in Feng Shui. b) The behavior of the practitioner is also important. My advice is; keep on learning!
TS : What is the perspective of Feng Shui in the future since many old masters retire?
GM Yap : Now and in the future the goal of Feng Shui will be to make peoples life better and increase their power.
TS : What is the essence of Feng Shui for you ?
GM Yap : a) to make money for yourself, b) to give authority for the countries politicians
TS: How important is the Luo Pan Compass? Some practitioners are using GPS to be more accurate and look at Luo Pan Compass as old fashion.
GM Yap: The Luo Pan Compass has been used for 2000 years. GPS is only available since 50 years. Now let us wait and compare the results of both methods in a few years. Then we will see which one is more accurate. For myself I am old school and I will always follow the Luo Pan compass!
TS: Application of Xuan Kong Fei Xing (Flying Stars) can be challenging. What is your suggestion for house buyers and owners?
GM Yap: Specifically do not reduce the Feng Shui to the Facing, use the landform, and certainly have enough space in front of the main door.
TS: How is your prediction for the upcoming period number 9?
GM Yap: Period 9 will be about intelligent people but also war and fighting.
TS: What are your secrets of success ?
GM Yap : Fine-tune the results.
