⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR EUROPEAN TRANSPORT OPERATORS ⚠️

On May 30, 2026, the Brenner Corridor between Austria and Italy will face major traffic disruptions due to a protest event in Tyrol. Significant delays and full road closures are expected throughout the day.

❌ From 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Complete closure of the A13 Brenner motorway and federal road B182

❌ Heavy vehicles over 7.5t
• Restrictions start from 7:00 AM
• Motorway closed between the Vipiteno toll station and the Austrian border
• Mandatory parking at Sadobre truck stop until capacity is reached
• Southbound traffic will be progressively released afterward

⚠️ Authorities strongly recommend:
• Avoiding transit through Tyrol on May 30
• Minimizing travel north of Trento
• Considering alternative routes such as the Tarvisio Pass
• Expecting congestion also before and after May 30

Planning ahead is essential to avoid major operational disruptions.

🚨 ELO mandatory from April 20, 2026: a single declaration for all RoRo transport flows between France 🇫🇷 and the UK 🇬🇧, centralizing customs and logistics data into one barcode to streamline border crossings.

🔍 A key requirement to anticipate: including customs documents, the ENS (ICS2), and load status ➡️ mandatory for both import and export.

🚛 A real operational risk if ignored: without proper preparation, trucks can be blocked at the border ➡️ making compliance tools essential for smooth operations.

🚨​ After being postponed for a long time, the date for the mandatory implementation of the ELO has now been set for April 20, 2026.

❓​ ELO (Enveloppe Logistique Obligatoire) is the new declaration mandatory for all transport between France 🇫🇷​ and the UK ​🇬🇧​. It brings together all the customs and logistics data under a single barcode. Thus allowing to simplify and secure the smart border process. Truck drivers (whether loaded or empty) will have to present it for import as well as export.

🔍 The ELO includes
• All Customs documents
• The ENS (Entry Summary Declaration) submitted via the new ICS2 system
• Information about the vehicle’s load status (full or empty)
• Port of departure/arrival
