Organic Vineyard and Micro Brewery. They live in the estate farmhouse with their two children, Zachary and Sophie-Tor.

In August 1994 Sarah and David Meakin moved from the UK after buying a five-hectare vineyard along with 30 hectares of cereal land in the limestone hills of Quercy National Park overlooking the beautiful hilltop bastide village of Puylaroque. Over the past 19 years they have planted a further three hectares of vines and now produce approximately 25000 bottles of award-winning wines every year.

Out delivering this morning in the Aveyron department love the scenery and vast open spaces. Not so wonderful in winter in the past when I had to drive Zac to school in Rodez,however, after finishing just had to stop for a coffee and something resembling a vanilla slice .Something I remember as a treat on a Saturday morning from the bakery on Kings Richard’s road but that was a lifetime ago.
