After arriving in Scotland with the view to retiring and setting up some sort of holiday let rental business. It soon became apparent that this was going to cost too much. Julie one day came up to me and said "How about we buy in France?" I thought she had been watching too much "A place in the sun" Howev
er, after a lot of looking around the internet at places and then choosing 10 to look at we set off on our adventure over a 4 day period. After some intense debate over two completely different properties, we finally agreed and put in an offer and whizz bang, 7 months later we are now the proud owners of a lovely house and Gite in the village of Boussais. We are now in a position to offer a fully furnished two bedroom Gite for rent from Saturday to Saturday. It has a double bedroom and a twin that can be made into a double. It has a living/dining area, an equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge and cooker. The double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. It has a small outside terrace for eating or enjoying a glass of wine. Towels and bed linen are included in the price. You can get here by Air to either Nantes (1hr 30min away) served by Easyjet and Flybe or Poitiers (50 mins away) Served by Ryanair in the summer months only. If you wish to come by car then Ferries from Portsmouth or Poole to St Malo (3 hr 10 min drive), Le Havre (4hr drive) or Caen (3hr drive)There is off-road parking.
