Apparently the next VIPs of global travel… walk on four legs.
The Amadeus 2026 trends report puts the “Pawprint Economy” as travel trend n°1 – and honestly, after 25+ years in luxury hospitality, this still managed to surprise me. I picked this up in a great summary from HOTELSMag, which breaks down how Amadeus sees pets reshaping routes, products and guest expectations for the coming year. From in‑cabin long‑haul pet flights to hotels rolling out loyalty perks and amenities just for pets, we’re not just “pet‑friendly” anymore… we’re entering a true pet‑centric travel era.

What resonates strongly from an operations and guest‑journey perspective is trend n°2: the rise of AI throughout the travel mix – from planning to booking to in‑stay personalization. Travelers are already blending machine intelligence and human instinct, using AI trip planners, smart booking engines and digital keys, while still expecting authentic human connection at every touchpoint.

Having run resorts and hotels across several continents, the biggest opportunity seen is exactly there: Human + AI Hospitality. Let smart tools handle the friction – search, selection, preferences, upsell logic – so that teams can focus on what no algorithm can replicate: anticipation, empathy, and memorable moments for both guests… and now their pets too.

Curious to hear from fellow hoteliers and travel pros: are you already adapting your product and operations for the Pawprint Economy and AI‑enhanced guest journeys, or does this still feel “future talk” in your market?

Top 3 Luxury Hotel Design Trends for 2025

As we head into 2025, the luxury hotel industry is undergoing a remarkable transformation, embracing innovative design concepts that cater to the evolving preferences of discerning travelers. Let's explore the top three luxury hotel design trends that are set to dominate the hospitality landscape in 2025.

1. Biophilic Design: Bringing Nature Indoors
Biophilic design has evolved from a trend to a fundamental approach in luxury hotel interiors. This design philosophy focuses on incorporating natural elements into built environments, creating spaces that promote well-being and connect guests with nature[1][2].

Key features of biophilic design in luxury hotels:
- Indoor gardens and lush greenery
- Living walls and water features
- Use of natural materials like reclaimed wood and stone
- Open-air terraces and balconies with native plants
- Increased natural light through large windows and skylights

By integrating these elements, luxury hotels create tranquil, nature-inspired spaces that offer a refreshing escape from urban environments, even in the heart of bustling cities.

2. Sustainability and Eco-Conscious Practices
Sustainability has become a top priority in luxury hotel design for 2025. Hoteliers are adopting eco-friendly practices and materials to reduce their environmental impact while meeting the expectations of environmentally conscious guests[3][5].

Sustainable design elements in luxury hotels:
- Use of recycled and locally sourced materials
- Energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems
- Water conservation technologies
- Furniture made from reclaimed or sustainable materials
- Integration of renewable energy sources

These sustainable design choices not only contribute to environmental conservation but also create unique, characterful spaces that resonate with guests seeking authentic and responsible luxury experiences.

3. Personalization and Flexible Spaces
In 2025, luxury hotels are focusing on creating highly personalized and adaptable environments that cater to the diverse needs of their guests. This trend reflects the growing demand for spaces that can seamlessly transition between work, relaxation, and social activities[8][10].

Features of personalized and flexible hotel design:
- Modular furniture and adaptable room layouts
- Multi-functional spaces that serve various purposes
- Smart room controls for personalized ambiance
- Customizable amenities and in-room experiences
- Soundproof workspaces within guest rooms

By offering flexible and personalized spaces, luxury hotels can accommodate the needs of both business and leisure travelers, providing a tailored experience that feels uniquely suited to each guest.

Conclusion

The luxury hotel design trends for 2025 reflect a shift towards creating immersive, sustainable, and personalized experiences. By incorporating biophilic elements, embracing eco-conscious practices, and offering flexible, customizable spaces, luxury hotels are redefining opulence for a new era of discerning travelers. These design innovations not only enhance the guest experience but also contribute to a more sustainable and adaptable hospitality industry.

As we look to the future, it's clear that luxury hotel design will continue to evolve, driven by changing guest preferences and technological advancements. By staying ahead of these trends, hoteliers can create truly exceptional spaces that captivate guests and set new standards in the world of luxury hospitality.

Building Success, One Project at a Time: Happy New Year 2025!
Dear valued partners and colleagues,

As we step into 2025, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the past year and share my thoughts on the exciting opportunities that lie ahead for us in the real estate and construction sectors.

2024 was undoubtedly a year of challenges and adjustments. We saw transaction volumes decrease and construction activity slow down. However, true to the spirit of our industry, we adapted, innovated, and persevered.

Looking ahead to 2025, there are promising signs on the horizon:
- The construction industry is projected to grow steadily, with a forecasted CAGR of 2.6% through 2028.
- We anticipate a return to growth in the construction sector, with the PMI expected to rise above 50 points.
- Mortgage rates are predicted to become more favorable, potentially dropping below 2.5%.
- The French real estate market is expected to grow by 3%, driven by increased foreign investment.

These indicators paint a picture of resilience and recovery. While challenges remain, they also bring opportunities for those ready to seize them.

At BSpoke Hospitality, we're excited about the potential for innovative projects, sustainable developments, and creative solutions in both construction and hospitality. We believe 2025 will be a year of transformation and growth.

As we embark on this new year, let's embrace the spirit of adaptability and collaboration that has brought us this far. Together, we can turn challenges into opportunities and create remarkable spaces that enhance lives and communities.

Here's to a prosperous 2025 filled with successful projects, fruitful partnerships, and continued growth. May this year bring you success, fulfillment, and exciting new ventures.

Wishing you and yours a Happy New Year!
