ترانه علیدوستی، بازیگر مطرح سینما، برای اولین بار در مستندی به نام «ترانه»، ساخته پگاه آهنگرانی، از تصمیم خود برای پیوستن به جنبش اعتراضی پس از کشته شدن مهسا امینی، حرف می‌زند؛ از روز بازداشت در خانه و مقابل دختر کوچکش، سرود خواندن زندانیان برای او در انفرادی و از بین رفتن پوستش بر اثر یک بیماری خودایمنی.

در فیلم «ترانه» که پگاه آهنگرانی برای بی‌بی‌سی فارسی ساخته، ترانه علیدوستی، صمیمی و بی‌تعارف در خانه‌اش مقابل دوربین می‌نشیند و به صراحت می‌گوید که دیگر در هیچ شرایطی باحجاب بازی نخواهد کرد و از کنار گذاشتن بازیگری احساس بدی ندارد.
