What happens when a château becomes a recording studio?
In late spring, Bill Laurance and Michael League took up residence at Château Palmer to record Close to Home, their third album as a duo.
For a few days, two pianos, an oud and an acoustic bass inhabited the salons, while the sounds of the château and its surroundings found their way into the music.
