Nous sommes heureux d’accueillir du 19 Mai au 30 Juin Mes Feux intimes de l’artiste Katy Fourès.
Cette série d’œuvres profondément sensibles, est née d’une confrontation directe avec les incendies qui ont marqué le Sud-Ouest de la France ces dernières années. Privée d’accès aux zones incendiées dès l’été 2021, Katy Fourès réinvente ces paysages en atelier, mêlant photographie, maquettes, matériaux brûlés et gestes plastiques. Entre broderie, brûlure et couture, chaque pièce devient un acte de réparation symbolique — une manière de panser les territoires autant que les émotions.
À travers cette exposition, l’artiste propose une photographie engagée, à la croisée de l’art plastique, de la mémoire et de l’urgence climatique.
We are delighted to welcome Mes Feux intimes by artist Katy Fourès from May 19th to June 30th.
This deeply sensitive body of work was born from a direct confrontation with the wildfires that have affected southwestern France in recent years. Denied access to the burned areas from the summer of 2021 onward, Katy Fourès reimagines these landscapes in the studio, combining photography, models, charred materials, and experimental gestures. Through embroidery, burning, and stitching, each piece becomes an act of symbolic repair — a way of tending both the land and the emotions it carries.
Through this exhibition, the artist presents an engaged photographic practice at the intersection of visual art, memory, and climate urgency.
