This is not a goodbye! 👋

Today the CMS shift crew celebrated the last proton collisions of LHC Run 3. The next time CMS will detect again particles from proton collisions will be in four years!

It’s still a full house in the CMS control room, though, as lead ion collisions are about to start! This heavy-ion run will mark the end of Run 3, and the beginning of the High Luminosity era 🙌
