Not been very busy in the workshop recently but I bought a 5€ teak chopping board in Action which made some lovely key rings and a pen.

A few pens with dog's head clips, which I am sending to SOS Perrera de Los Barrios to help with their fund raising.

The wood these are made from was obtained from beach BBQ's near the rescue.

Paid a visit to Seguin Moreau in Cognac yesterday, a cooperage who make casks for the Remy Martin Cognac house and acquired 6 staves from 30+ year old casks that had been returned for refurbishment.

I made a couple of key rings from the cross cut scrap after milling one of the staves.

I was given a block of old Holly recently, complete with in-bedded twigs.
I think it turned out quite nicely
