Nous sommes aujourd’hui à Corcelles en Beaujolais dans une propriété historique, le Clos du Vieux Bo
urg. Les bâtiments sont l’ancienne église de Corcelles, avec son presbytère. Dans cette « église », nous y avons bâti notre chai. Lorsque l’empire de Charlemagne fut partagé en l’an 843, nous étions au royaume des Francs alors que celui des Burgondes était à 100 m au nord ! Beaucoup plus tard, nous étions à la limite d’influence des moines de Cluny au nord et des sires de Beaujeu au sud. Il y a eu de la vie ici, de l’affrontement, des batailles même, … et ainsi de suite au fil des siècles. Nous sommes encore aujourd’hui à la limite des régions Bourgogne et Auvergne-Rhône Alpes. Nous avons remis ce lieu en valeur pour en faire un endroit remarquable du Beaujolais et pérenniser le vignoble familial Piron autour de cette nouvelle entité

We are located in Corcelles-en-Beaujolais in a historical property, the “Clos du Vieux Bourg”. The buildings are the old church of Corcelles, with its presbytery. In this "church", we built our winery. This place has always been a border. When the empire of Charlemagne was split in 843, we were in the kingdom of the Franks, while the Burgundians were 100 m to the north! Much later, we were at the limit of influence of the monks of Cluny to the north and the sires of Beaujeu to the south. There was life here, confrontation, battles even, ... and so on through the centuries. And we are still at the limit of the regions Burgundy and Auvergne-Rhône Alpes. We have renovated this property in order to make an outstanding location in the Beaujolais region and to perpetuate the Piron family vineyard around this new entity called:
