Omelette Festivities

The WARP French residence permit renewal process is straightforward, here's what to do:

• Check your expiry date on your current card.
• Renew 2-3 months before it expires
• Check your local Prefecture procedures and complete your application: online, by post, or at the prefecture’s ticket office.
• Required documents: application form, passport, proof of address, 3 identity photos, your expiring residence permit, and any proof of changes to your situation.
• Receive your receipt from the Prefecture
• Collect your 10 year residence permit, it's valid longer and it's free

Processing times vary by prefecture.

I am delighted to share some news.

I have recently been elected President of the Franco-British Network, and I wanted to write to you directly to mark the occasion and look ahead.

It is a privilege to take on this role. Many of you will know that Roger Haigh, our founder and President, passed away last year. Roger gave everything to this organisation and to the British community in France, and his legacy is something we carry with us every day.

I am also pleased to say that I have the full support of our wonderful board members. The FBN is built on teamwork, and I am genuinely indebted to each of them for their energy, commitment and generosity. Everything we achieve, we achieve together.

Equally central to everything we do is the continued commitment of our partners. Our close working relationships with the British Consulate, French authorities, and our trusted network of Service Providers give the FBN a level of institutional insight and practical reach that sets us apart. We are grateful for their ongoing support and proud of the relationships we have built over many years.

We continue to support UK nationals moving to and living in France, and we have some exciting projects on the horizon. I look forward to sharing more with you very soon.
