From that to this ⬆️ we created a magical flower meadow this year, it was beyond anything we expected to grow! It’s been a haven for bugs, butterflies, bees, birds and a deer 🦌 or two 🤨. I say ‘we’ but really it’s Mike’s creation. Last year he made allotment beds out of the timber from our collapsed outbuildings, so this year we planted veggies and flowers in there too. It’s become a peaceful spot for us to drink coffee and the creatures we share this wonderful space with. The icing on the top was spotting baby tree froglets last night 🐸 So, take a moment to relax as I take you on a little sunset tour x

A few things for Monday! Christmas 2026 brochure, our climbing rose, lovely signs in our village to make sure the council man doesn’t mow the hedgerow, art I’ve been making, tomatoes growing, fresh eggs from our neighbour and today’s much needed hailstones!

Desk flowers for the week incoming! 🌸 Lots to work on this coming week, the kettle may take a bit of a bashing, working on some interesting designs for America plus the usual summer Christmas manufacturing. Flowers from our meadow and my new favourite cook book ‘Ripailles’ an oldie but found it in one of my favourite brocantes round here 📕

Always lovely to see our cards out and about. Spotted in Farnham on my last trip back. Such a beautiful store under the archways at the bottom of Castle street ❤️
