Ce projet est le fruit de cette énergie collective, guidée par un objectif : améliorer la vie des patients grâce à l’innovation.

Aujourd’hui, nous clôturons cette série de publications avec un grand merci à toutes celles et ceux qui nous ont soutenus jusqu’ici.

Les infarctus du myocarde touchent 7 millions de personnes chaque année dans le monde.
Et dans les 5 ans, plus de 40 % des patients subissent un événement cardiovasculaire majeur. 💔
CASIS a été pionnier en développant la première solution commerciale automatisée pour analyser et quantifier un infarctus sur les séquences d’IRM en rehaussement tardif.
Grâce à l’IA, un saut qualitatif a été accompli dans l’analyse du fonctionnement du cœur.
Mais certaines zones restent encore difficiles à détecter.
🧠 C’est pourquoi CASIS a introduit une innovation unique : une couche de garantie anatomique basée sur un réseau de neurones, pour fiabiliser l’analyse.
Aujourd’hui, CASIS continue à innover, notamment pour les myocardites et les anévrismes de l’aorte thoracique.

Each year, 7 million people worldwide suffer a myocardial infarction.
And within 5 years, over 40% will experience a major cardiovascular event. 💔
CASIS was a pioneer in developing the first automated commercial solution for analyzing and quantifying heart attacks using late enhancement cardiac MRI.
AI enabled a qualitative leap in automated cardiac analysis.
However, some regions remain challenging to detect.
🧠 To address this, CASIS introduced a unique innovation:
an anatomical guarantee layer powered by a neural network to enhance reliability.

✨ L’histoire d’une vocation inattendue

🇫🇷 FRANÇAIS
Jean-Joseph CHRISTOPHE, fondateur de CASIS, n’était pas destiné au domaine de la santé. 🧬
Les matières liées à la biologie et au vivant étaient plutôt sa bête noire au lycée.

Mais pendant ses études de mathématiques, un sujet a tout changé :
🧠 la modélisation mathématique de la cellule humaine.
Ce sujet l’a passionné. Après un double doctorat sur les problématiques cardiovasculaires, il a souhaité passer de la théorie à la pratique, avec une forte motivation : faire bénéficier les patients atteints de pathologies cardiaques graves des avancées de la recherche académique. ❤️‍🩹

🔗 Le tournant ? Sa rencontre avec le Dr Alain Lalande, inventeur du projet QIR – une solution innovante d’analyse IRM cardiovasculaire.

Jean-Joseph CHRISTOPHE, founder of CASIS, wasn’t initially destined for the healthcare field. 🧬
In fact, biology and life sciences were far from his favorite subjects in high school.

But during his mathematics studies, one topic changed everything:
🧠 the mathematical modeling of the human cell.
This subject ignited a passion. After completing a dual PhD on cardiovascular issues, he felt compelled to bring academic research into practice — with one strong motivation: helping patients suffering from serious heart conditions. ❤️‍🩹

🔗 The turning point? His encounter with Dr. Alain Lalande, the inventor of the QIR project — an innovative solution for cardiovascular MRI analysis.

✨ From this meeting, CASIS was born.
