Earlier this week, we had the delight of welcoming lovely guests from the UK to Domaine Beaumont.

The matinée began in the vines, followed by a w**e tasting with the w**emaker, and concluded with a leisurely casse-croûte du vigneron - our picnic-style baguette, enjoyed in the shade of our beautiful park trees.

We were delighted to welcome our wonderful guests from Ocala Equine Hospital, Florida, to an exclusively privatised Domaine Beaumont for ‘La Vie du Vigneron’ with Gérald.

A day of vineyard life, behind-the-scenes discoveries, w**e tasting with w**emaker, and lunch served at la table du Vigneron.

Rillauds – the taste of Saumur & Anjou!

A true speciality of the Loire Valley, rillauds are deeply rooted to the culinary traditions of Anjou and the Saumur region.

From the age-old tradition of preserving pork, rillauds are generous pieces of pork belly, slowly cooked in their own rendered fat until tender, golden and wonderfully rich.

Unlike rillettes, the meat remains in hearty pieces, making rillauds a delicious rustic expression of Angevin charcuterie and the generous cooking of the Loire Valley - we’re delighted to include this local favourite in our Panier Vigneron supper, a true taste of our terroir !

La Rillaudée, is the festival for la Fête de Rillaud held in Brissac-Quincé every July.

As part of their w**e journey through France, we had the pleasure of welcoming out guests from Sonoma to Domaine Beaumont.

An afternoon w**e tasting with Gerald, exploring the vineyard and our troglodyte caves. Followed by a leisurely supper served at la table du vigneron, and a night in the suites🥂🍇

We were so touched to receive this beautiful gift from our guests. And somehow, perfectly at home, it feels as though this dear little pot was always meant to be in our cave !

At Domaine Beaumont, now that the 2026 harvest is safely in, we're turning our attention back to the vineyard, assessing the health of our vines row by row, parcel by parcel.
Today's job : removing and counting the dead vines.
